HOW SAMSUNG PAY WORKS

Samsung Pay is a mobile wallet app that allows you to easily pay for purchases at participating merchants with virtual debit or credit cards on your Samsung device. See the Samsung Pay website to find out if your device is compatible.

Once installed, using Samsung Pay is easy. At store checkout, bring up a card by swiping up from the bottom of your screen. Select how you’d like to verify – biometrics or PIN. Hold near payment terminal. If paying at a terminal for debit cards, tap near the magnetic stripe line where you would swipe a debit card; If it’s a tap-and-go terminal, simply tap your phone.

SETUP IS SIMPLE

Find the app pre-installed on your Samsung phone or download from the Google Play store. Then, sign in to your Samsung account. Scan your fingerprint or iris and enter a pin to authenticate future purchases. Snap a picture of your card and sign where necessary. Your cards are securely backed up and can be restored with your Samsung account. Head over to your favorite store and see how easy it is to check out or add your card online via Samsung Internet.

IF YOUR DEVICE IS LOST OR STOLEN

Every transaction is authenticated by your fingerprint, pin number, or iris scan. If your phone is lost or stolen, you can remotely lock or erase your Samsung Pay account with Find My Mobile. Contact South Louisiana Bank Customer Service Center at 985-851-3434 to remove your card from Samsung Pay.
